1. DATA COLLECTED WHEN VISITING THE WEBSITE
When you visit this website, information is automatically processed that your browser transmits to the server and that is technically necessary to display the website and to ensure its stability and security. This may include in particular:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- content of the request (specific page)
- access status / HTTP status code
- amount of data transferred
- referrer URL
- browser, operating system and their version
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically reliable provision and security of the website.
The website is hosted by Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG. According to the hosting provider’s currently published information, IP addresses are stored in anonymised form in access logs; these anonymised access logs are retained for 60 days. Error logs, which may be generated in connection with failed page requests, are deleted after seven days. Further information on hosting is provided in section 5 of this Privacy Policy.
2. NO COOKIES, NO TRACKING
This website does not use cookies for analytics, marketing or tracking purposes and does not use analytics or tracking technologies. Your usage behaviour is not analysed.
The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our own web server in the production environment. Loading the fonts therefore does not establish a connection to Google Fonts or a comparable external font service.
Other externally embedded services such as web analytics or map services are currently not used.
Based on the website’s currently intended technical configuration, no tracking or marketing technologies requiring consent are used. A consent request for such technologies is therefore not currently envisaged.
3. CONTACTING US
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or through the contact options provided on this website, your details – for example your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your message – will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. In other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Personal data is disclosed only where this is legally permissible, necessary to handle your enquiry or provide our services, or required by law.
Enquiries are stored until they have been dealt with and are then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or other legal grounds require further storage.
On request, we also offer communication via messenger services, for example WhatsApp. Use is voluntary. Our processing of data exchanged through such services is based, depending on the content of the communication, on Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The respective messenger provider processes data separately under its own responsibility; this may include transfers of data to third countries. For particularly sensitive or confidential information, please contact us in advance to agree on an appropriate method of transmission.
4. PROCESSING IN THE COURSE OF PROVIDING SERVICES
In the course of our services – independent support, documentation and interpretation for property purchases and construction and renovation projects – we process the data required for the performance of the contract.
This may include in particular:
- name and address
- telephone number and e-mail address
- property and project information
- construction progress documentation
- photographs of the property
- quotations and invoices
- project-related correspondence and other information required for the agreed service
The legal basis is in particular Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where statutory retention obligations or other legal obligations apply.
The data is stored for the duration of the contractual relationship. After completion of the engagement, it is deleted once it is no longer required for the stated purposes, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds for further storage apply, in particular for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
5. HOSTING
We host our website with an external service provider:

Germany
A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
Personal data generated when visiting the website is processed on the hosting provider’s systems insofar as this is necessary for the provision, security and technical operation of the website. Processing takes place within the scope of the agreed hosting services and on the basis of the applicable data protection arrangements with the hosting provider.
According to Mittwald’s currently published information, IP addresses are stored in anonymised form in access logs and the anonymised access logs are retained for 60 days. Error logs are deleted after seven days.
